This week at VTOS we held our first live wellness session. All staff and students at Newbridge Further Education Centre were invited to put down their pens and log in to a 30 minute session facilitated by tutor, Clodagh Maher via Microsoft Teams. She reminded us of the importance of taking time out from the stress of our busy everyday lives. She led staff and students through breathing techniques to relax the mind and body. This beneficial session will become a weekly occurrence at the centre. It is hoped that everybody will feel the positive effects of this on their mental wellbeing.
